Good evening band families!
We are approaching the end of the year! We have a lot going on to end the year, plus we are starting to get ready for marching season if you can believe it!
Please screenshot and email me your quarterly King Soopers Community Rewards statement by May 1st for you student to get the credit, otherwise, the funds will be put into the general fund.
If you have a senior, you can make and display a senior board at the last concert band and jazz concerts. We will have tables put up for you to place the board on.
I have attached the Raise Right flyer to this email. Raise Right is a great way to fundraise extra money for your student's account. We have had students raise hundreds of dollars this way, if your student is doing marching band and/or going on the Ireland trip, this is a must do! Follow the instructions on the flyer to sign up.
If you have a senior and they have funds in their student account, there are 3 different things we can do with the money: You can give the funds to another band student of your choosing, you can ask for the funds to be placed into our scholarship fund, or it can be put into our general fund. Please let me know what you would like done with the funds before May 15th. If you have not let me know what you would like done with the funds, and your student does not have a sibling in band (we will automatically put the funds into the sibling's account) the funds will be put into the band's general fund.
Also, if you are a senior parent and you have another student in the band, please let me know so I can keep you on our email list, otherwise, I delete all the senior parents as of June 1st and you will no longer receive emails from me.
