Showcase and Legacy Festival

Good evening band families,

My apologies for multiple emails per week, I promise that after marching season is over, it will go back down to one time a week. Please take a moment to review this email to the end, as it contains information regarding multiple events.

Showcase Agenda

  • 11:00am - Marching Band Rehearsal

  • 2:00pm - Showcase begins! Students eat In-N-Out first (and they must purchase a ticket to eat!)

  • 2:00-3:45pm - Tailgate! Enjoy food, play games, hang out in the parking lot, purchase tickets for showcase performance. Students head inside to change at 3:30 pm.

  • 3:45pm - Gates open to the stadium.

  • 4:30pm - Marching Band Performance!

If you have purchased In-N-Out tickets, but have not picked them up, we will have them available for pick up on Saturday. Please note that we are unable to sell tickets for In-N-Out on day of the Showcase.

Admission for the Showcase will be $5 at the gate (kids 12 & under are free). You will find a map at the bottom of this email showing where the event will take place at Horizon and where to park. We are still in need of event helpers for the Showcase, so if you are able to help, please let me know.

Here is the link for our Legacy Meal Train. Every competition we feed the students, staff, and Hawk Haulers, and we need your help! For the Legacy Competition, we will be serving a nacho bar, and we need many pounds of nacho goodness. If you are able to, please sign up on the Meal Train link above to bring food. All you have to do is cook it, chop it, or purchase it and drop it off at the school when you take your student for call time, and our team of helpers will set up, serve, and clean up. All of what we are serving is shown on the Meal Train, so if your child has allergies, please review the menu and send food with your child if they are unable to have what we are serving. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you so much for all of your help with the band so far, it truly takes a village to support our students and staff to help them achieve their goals during a marching season. I'm so thankful for each member of our band family! Jess Hughes HHSBPA President
