Students and Parents,
We are performing right down the road at Prairie View High School for the Friendship Cup Marching Band Competition (hosted by The Blue Knights/Ascend Performing Arts). We will be competing in the preliminary and finals portion of this competition. Parents, as always, please consider attending the festival, especially since it is so close to HHS. Plan to arrive 20 – 30 minutes early and don’t forget to cheer loudly as we enter the field!. NOTE: we won’t know our finals performance time until the preliminary competition is complete. Let’s make a statement for HHS! Go Hawks!

Performance Itinerary
9:30 a.m. Call time @ H.H.S.
Change into uniforms
Load uniform racks (with empty bags) and snacks/water onto U-Haul
10:00 a.m. Load buses
10:10 a.m. Leave for Prairie View High School (12909 E. 120th, Henderson, CO)
10:40 a.m. Arrive @ Prairie View
Put on final parts of uniform
Get ready for warm-up
11:15 a.m. Winds/Percussion/Guard – Warm-Up
12:15 p.m. Move to Performance
12:30 p.m. HHS Marching Hawks Show Time! “A Story of the Heart”
12:45 p.m. Watch Ralston Valley perform
1:00 p.m. Move back to bus, change out of uniforms
1:45 p.m. Eat Lunch
4:00 p.m. Finals begin (HHS Performance time will be determined by placement in prelims)
7:05 p.m. Finals End/Finale Awards/Load Trailer if needed
Directors – go to critique
7:35 p.m. Move back to buses
7:55 p.m. Depart for H.H.S.
8:20 p.m. Arrive at H.H.S.
Go Home
Ticket Information: Prelims $8, Finals $10, Combo (Prelims and Finals) $15. Student, military ID’s, and Seniors (65 and older) receive $2 off advertised price. Children (5 and under) receive free admission. Visa and Master Card will be accepted. All tickets will be available at the ticket sales gate at the stadium.
