Good evening band families!
The band did an AMAZING job this weekend at the Douglas County marching competition! I am so proud of all the hard work the students have done this year! And thank you to all the parents who have helped out with pit crew, chaperoning, food, or making sure your student is brought to the school on time and has black socks! I thank each one of you for the part that you play to make the music program at Horizon a success!
Below is this week's events, the band does not have a competition this up coming weekend, so I hope everyone can get some much needed rest and enjoy their weekend.
Monday - If you ordered coffee from the coffee fundraiser, you can pick it up, or have your student pick up the order in the afternoon after school. Sara, the fundraiser chair person will be at the school with the orders.
Tuesday - Marching rehearsal from 5:30pm - 7:30pm & the fall orchestra and concert band concert at 7pm.
Wednesday - After school sectionals
Please remember that if your student is going on the big trip and would like to use money in your students account, you can have your student fill out the slip in the band room (you can have them ask Mr. Dailey about where it is), or you can email the treasurer at hhsbpatreasurer@gmail.com.
Our Chipotle restaurant night is October 24th from 5-9 at the Chipotle off 144th.
And lastly, if you ordered an Ellen hoodie, please make sure payment is in by tonight, we would like to get the order placed and unfortunately if payment has not been received, we can not order a hoodie for you. We would like to thank Bridget and Lois Killion for putting this together to honor Ellen .
