I'm so incredibly proud of how hard the students are working and what we've accomplished this season so far! We have a few late nights this week and the students will be excused for Friday to go to Quarter Finals so please remind the students to stay on top of their homework load throughout the week. We will have a study hall in the room from 4-5:15 pm tomorrow before rehearsal and the students have Wednesday morning to see their teachers to get caught up or ahead in anticipation of missing Friday. Permission slips are out and should be making their way around to teachers/parents this week.
Here is the schedule for State Week: 10/26 Rehearsal 5:30-8:30 pm: This is our last Tuesday rehearsal of the
season! This will still be a Summative grade put into the Q2 grade book. 10/28 Special Moments 1:50-4:00 pm- Extended Rehearsal 4:00 pm- Load trailer, students go to section time/dinner 6:30 pm- Special Moments Ceremony in Band Room 8:30 pm- Ceremony Ends 9:00 pm- Parents Come to decorate the band room for State to hype the students up for a great weekend! Link for signing up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0545afaa22a5f58-state4 CBA Quarterfinals Schedule: 11:00 am- Call 11:30 am- Depart HHS 1:30 pm- Arrive at Air Force Falcon Stadium 2:00 pm- Lunch 3:20 pm- Move to Warm Up 5:05 pm- Perform!!! 6:25 pm- Awards Ceremony 7:00 pm- Depart back to HHS 8:30 pm- Arrive back at HHS and Dismiss CBA Semi Finals If we don’t move in rank and keep the exact same spot: 7:00 am- Call at HHS 7:30 am- Depart HHS 9:00 am- Arrive at Air Force Falcon Stadium 11:40 am- Move to Warm Up (Tentative) 1:00 pm- Perform (Tentative) 1:30 pm- Lunch 4:00 pm- Awards Ceremony If we happen to move forward, Finals are held that night with a full retreat ceremony at 9:30 pm.
