2. 2016 Marching Band Show Read-through Rehearsal
Thursday, May 19th @ 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. @ HHS Band Room
We are looking forward to having you in the HHS Marching Hawks!
Come to this rehearsal and meet the bandies.You will be very glad that you did.
3. June Marching Band Rehearsals
Wednesdays in June:June 1, 8, 15, 22 8 a.m. – 12 noon
Please see website for specific times pertaining to your instrument.
Each section will have a two-hour music rehearsal during these mornings.
Make these a priority, so you’ll learn the music correctly and be prepared for marching season.
4. Marching Band Camp: August 1st – 5th (8 a.m. – 12 noon, 1:30 – 5:00 p.m.)
August 1st AM rehearsal is for 9th graders, newbies, and leadership only.
Wear tennis shoes, comfortable athletic clothing.
Bring a water jug and wear sunscreen.
This is a great week of learning and fun for the marching band!
You are urged to attend this camp, in order to be prepared for the marching season.If you have a conflict, please contact Mrs. Fleeman asap.
PLEASE make this camp a priority!It is the foundation week for our HHS Marching Hawks.
Members of the HHS Leadership Corps will be contacting the incoming students over the summer.
Summer sectional rehearsals will be held and led by the HHS band leadership corps.
Please respond to phone calls/texts from these leaders, and make every effort to attend the section events.
Make sure you are enrolled in Marching band (1st quarter, periods 7 – 8)
All band students are required to be in the HHS Marching Hawks.It is the flagship ensemble of our program and most visible in the community.You will be glad you are in this ensemble!
