Pomona Marching Festival Itinerary - October 3, 2015
Students and Parents,
The Pomona Marching Festival will be our second marching competition of the season. It is a great opportunity for our band program to compete amongst bands within the metro area and have the goal of making Finals. I’m looking forward to our band’s showing amongst the marching band community at this competition. Parents, please consider attending the festival (plan to arrive 20 – 30 minutes early). We want a crowd of supporters at this festival cheering loudly as we enter the field! Go Hawks! --Mrs. Fleeman J
Performance Itinerary
7:45 a.m. Call time @ H.H.S./Change into uniform
Final review of itinerary
8:20 a.m. Load buses (in half-uniform, with instruments in cases)
**Uniform carts loaded on U-Haul.**
8:30 a.m. Leave for NAAC Stadium
9:15 a.m. Arrive @ NAAC Stadium, Jeff-Co Public Schools

Arvada, CO 80403
Unload buses/instruments, get stamped, final uniform prep
9:45 a.m. Winds/Percussion/Guard – Warm-Up
PROPS: 9:45 – 10:00 a.m. – unload time
11:15 a.m. HHS Marching Hawks Show Time! “A Story of the Heart”
12 noon HHS Show ends
PROPS: Pick-up (12:00 noon – 12:15 p.m.)
Move back to buses, Remove uniforms, Load trailer
Eat lunch
1:30 p.m. Move into stadium and watch other bands
3:30 p.m. Prelims/Awards
4:00 p.m. If we make finals, we will regroup and prep for Finals
**If we do not make finals, we will load trailer and depart for HHS.**
5:15 p.m. Finals Begin (go until 9:15 p.m.)
**If we make finals, we should return to HHS by 10:30 p.m.
NOTE: Finals performance time won’t be determined until preliminary competition is completed.
