Pinot’s Palette Fundraiser  November 9th 7:00PM

We have a fundraiser scheduled for November 9th from 7-9. November 10th is a school holiday, so no worries about needing to get up for school the day after this fundraiser. Please register as soon as possible and invite your friends and family too. All of the recent fundraising has gone to student accounts so it is time to raise money for the general fund. This is a fun night for all ages. We are painting a beautiful winter scene. Here is the link to the website to register:

Fun Services Holiday Shop Fundraisers Urgent Need

We need everyone to participate so we can replenish the General Fund. With 153 students in Marching Band and Color Guard, we should not have to ask repeatedly for these slots to be filled. This helps to keep the marching band fee the lowest in the district. This is a fun easy way to make money for the band. Use the below link to the Signup Genius and see where you can help out. This is a great way for your student to get community service hours if they are in SOAR or other organizations that require hours. Anyone 14 years old and up can help.

Reminder- Quarterly Meeting and Trip Meeting- Monday, November 13th from 7-9 PM

On November 13th we will be having a mandatory trip meeting attached to our quarterly meeting. We will be going over chaperone groups, itinerary, the behavior expectations contract, and what to bring on the trip. Wayne Manzaneras and Urte Land from AdvantEdge will be at the meeting and can answer any questions.

Jazz Band Concert November 14th at 7:00 PM

Horizon's first jazz band concert is only a week away on Tuesday, November 14th at 7:00 pm. It will be held at Horizon in the auditorium. For jazz parents, uniforms will be the same as last year. Jazz II does black bottoms and a white top (button up and tie for gentleman). Jazz I will do black bottoms, color button up top, and black blazer. This should be a great concert and the bands have been working very hard all year, come check it out!
